VIS Fingers (Visitor Identification System) is a fingerprint verification system that confirms the identity of people entering premises, passing from one area to another and leaving the site. It has been specially designed and developed for the high security needs of Prisons and other establishments demanding such measures.
VIS Fingers is based on proven fingerprint technology. It reinforces security by reliably verifying the authenticity of visitors and their access privileges. This prevents prisoner escape by visitor exchange, which is a vulnerability of conventional access control systems. It also prevents duplicate or over booking visits and denies access to red-listed visitors’ who may have been banned from visiting (for example, for drug trafficking).

The simple to navigate site structure displays the number of people at each location and is capable of showing details of all persons at a given site at any time. The inbuilt management tools allow ID card/pass production (Photo ID or bar coded) as required, querying for person location and browsing of the photo galleries of visitors on site.
Auditing and monitoring are well catered for by the enquiry and reporting tools. A range of inbuilt search filters precisely retrieve historical information as required. Standard report formats are provided in the standard VIS Fingers product suite and the custom report generator enhances flexibility to generate specific reports of interest.
